Alas, most of the books I have come across conform pretty much to the official guidelines... Perhaps look for low carb books rather than ones written for diabetics

It's not officially a book for diabetics, but the recipes are diabetic friendly, & that's the Dopamine Diet by Tom Kerridge. Highly recommended by me & a few others on this forum.🙂

The Sugar Free Family Cookbook - Sarah Flower. This book has nutritional info at the bottom and some have flour but provide alternatives and show carbs with flour or with replacements like ground almonds. I regularly make desserts for visitors. As above it’s not low in fat but low carb

I’m a Dopamine Diet fan too. Good tasty food, and very low carb.🙂[/QUOTE@mikeyB;@markparrott I looked at this book but it seemed to have a lot of pork dishes in which I don’t like...
