If a type 2 asks to go on insulin do they have to be reasons or evidence to support that choice? Tomorrow I am planning on asking my DSN if I can go on insulin, its not an easy fix i know and im not asking for that reason, its just the victoza is not working for me and I can feel it more then ever lately,Ive given it time and im not rushing into this lightly as I fought so hard for the Victoza,But really all I want to know is can they refuse to put me on it?
Basically the Victoza gave me a steady weight loss of 2-3lb in the early days but now its not happening im putting in as much effort as well so its not like im expecting the Vic to do it all for me....
Anyway I guess ill find out tomorrow what happens just hope im given a fair chance..
Another question the type 2s in here who have been put on insulin a while into diagnosis, have you found the insulin has improved your levels?
