I'm sorry this doesn't seem to have worked. Still you know if you have 'our mate Paul' on side, if you are OK with fast acting, wouldn't that make you an ideal candidate for a pump? 😉 😉
 
Lol Trophywench - Your likkle jiffy bag did just fine - thank you again, you should have sent me your address so I could return postage. I liked the Novofine needles, seemed more comfortable than BD but of course didn't solve the problem. The ones I've tried tonight are unifine and came free with a pen, didn't think I'd still got any 8mm - made me feel a bit Urgh when I saw the length - it's funny what you get used to - never thought anything of it before the 5mm! Anyway - this is my last attempt now - if it don't work then I'm off to the docs after holiday.

I asked about a pump a while back but it was a "no" - HbA1C too good and very limited availability in this area - the DSN told me about some of the other people waiting and it made me realise I'm not so badly off.......Oh well, maybe one day!

I can't believe he was old enough to retire! he had a really young face when I knew him! Perhaps meeting you did him in whereas I kept him youthful; we'll never know ........
