Hi all,
Quick question - Alex had white ciabbatta bread with tunaand cheese melted for his meal - i forgot what white bread does to him! So i gave him half his dose before the meal and have decided to leave it to give him the rest to try to stop the spike - but how long would you say i should leave it for? Thanks. Bev

Hi Bev,

Hope you are ok and alex has enjoyed his first day back at school.
Back to your question...If it were Nathan, I would probably give him the rest about 3/4 of an hour after he had finished his meal.
Hope this helps
Heidi

What does white bread do to Alex? i find white bread spikes me quickly, but it seems it does the opposite to him. Just shows how different we all are!

How did it work out the way you dosed last night?

Hi Nikki,
Well i am not certain when the spike happens - but he is always high a couple of hours after white bread. So i gave half the dose before food and then half 30 minutes later - it didnt work totally because he was still 16 - but that is much better than what he normally is! Bev
