Was looking at 0% fat natural greek yogurt no added ingredients but it still says 7.5g of carbs (all sugar) per 100g serving.

Am I right in assuming this is Lactose (natural sugar in milk) ??

I intend trying a serving (about 100g) of this yogurt sweetened with a tsp of brown rice syrup and Blueberries (some crushed some whole) and some chopped nuts.

Hoping BG's remains level (ie same before and 1 hr after)

The reason I'm trying this is while yogurts can be low to nil fat content they tend to be high in sugar.

OMG! this sounds soooooooooo yummy... I don't know about the lacose in greek yogurt, but I know it is sweeter than 0% fat natural ordinary yogurt. someone will be along to put you right I'm sure.

btw.... what is brown rice syrup?

Brown Rice Syrup - composed of 50% soluble complex carbohydrates which are released slowly, 45% maltose which is release relatively quickly and 3% glucose which is released immediately into the blood stream. ...... http://www.essentiallyhealthyfood.com/essentially_healthy_food/sugar-a-bittersweet-story-part-2.html

I'd try the Yog before you put anything in it - it's scrummy on its own IMHO. Not at all 'sour' tasting like err, 'un-Greek' yoghurt.

Try and get the sheeps milk one if you can, although I don't think it's that common these days here (still is in Greek supermarkets tho LOL)
