Hi all.

I was wondering whether any of you ladies have to increase their insulin ALOT leading up to and during period?

Mine seems to jump ALOT. For example my background insulin seems to be around 12 morning 1-8 ratio, lunch 1-10 and tea 1-12

When it is leading up to and during my period my background ends up about 20 and my ratios are Breakfast 1-6 lunch 1-8 and eve 1-8

Any one else have to change their insulin ratios and background insulin this much?? 😱

Yes, I need 30% more fast acting for 5 days before & 3-5 days during.

It's all fun........not

Thanks Laura... thought it was really odd but looks like your the same! Drives me crazy. I get awful peak also...then 4 days in I plummet and it goes crazy! Since having a CGM it certainly is an eye opener! 🙄

Let me see if I can remember that far back? After all it's been at least 18 months now, but yes. Numbers always jumped a day or two before and then fell drastically a few days later.

Mine always started to rise from about 2 weeks before over the course of a week, stayed high for a week, then fell over the course of about 2 days. Ahh, life was fun back then, Not.

Sorry I can't help you there, as that's all finished now for me. Yay
