Nail varnish remover will get it off, acetone , fine on polypropylene!

Acetone may melt plastic. However, there’s not much nail varnish with acetone in it available nowadays - it’s not very friendly to finger nails.
Non-acetone nail varnish is better on nails and plastic and will probably remove sharpie ink.

Yes new stuff safer I guess but can't beat the real stuff, use it for lots of other things. Acetone is sold in polypropylene bottles but yes it will melt some plastics, pvc for example.
