Carol is now pumping insulin with her band new pump. She?s child patient number 34 to have a pump (out of 256ish)🙂

We went to hospital to meet with the DSN, the consultant and the rep. Carol and the DSN set it all up together, the rep and the consultant checked the settings. Also, because Carol had the full dose of Levemir last night, they set up a temporary basal until 9pm tonight. All in all we were there for about 1 hour only, which surprised me a bit, I expected it to take a bit longer. I guess we didn?t ask enough questions 😉 .

Carol is one happy bunny at the moment. Last night just as she had to do her Levemir, she excitedly mentioned that this was her last one, yippee! And then this morning the last Rapid, yay. Well, I warned her it won?t be the last one ever though.

Really pleased Monica.

Hope her positive mood continues 🙂

Good Luck Carol........................🙂

I can't imagine how excited and happy Carol is.......I'm 45 and got my pump in April and I was smiling from ear to ear!! :D

The pump sounds great and everyone was very helpful. I'm sure it will be a hge success.

May I suggest you keep a note book or pad or something and if you think of anything to ask you can make a list for next time you go or phoe up if necessary.

That is great news Monica, my best wishes to Carol. I hope it all goes well for her.
