Hi,

I just looked online to find out what is the pump using. Although I am not type 1, helps for me to know what it is and why many with type 1 diabetes prefer it...

Check the Pump section too - lots of personal experiences there.

Hello Rustee,
A insulin pump enables the user to set the pump up to deliver insulin at the rate needed for them. It's battery operated and we as users can deliver our meal time insulin at the speed and length of time we chose as well.
Only quick acting insulin goes into the pump.
Just think of a pocket pancreas 🙂
