Local to Blackpool. Southport 🙂 Norwood Surgery. But I know a few who worked in the War Pensiins Office.

Norcross is the home of War Pensions, not Norwood. I should know, I worked there.

OOps - my fault! Sorry. After all that, it's in Southport - not Blackpool anyway.

I only spent a freezing fortnight there @mikeyB over 50 years ago, so you'll have to excuse my memory!

Don’t worry, TW, if the Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica slips into the sea, as it is looking a bit cracked, then sea levels will rise about 2m, so both Blackpool and Southport, along with the Fylde Plain, will be tidally flooded. So will most of Norfolk, that’s the disadvantage of having a coastline with no cliffs and a lot of land lower than sea level.

Studland Bay and Sandbanks will likely be in a bit of trouble too …….
