Relationship to Diabetes

I was at a DUK meeting last week and one of the others their had attended the professional conference. She talked about one presentation on T1 diabetes and exercise, at which they showed a table for how to manage diffferent types of exercise. I did not have the oppportunity to catch up with her again to get more details.

Did anyone on here attend this?
Does anyone know how I could get hold of a copy of the table that they showed.

There are a couple of good resources for T1 and exercise. I wonder if it might have been the ExTOD stuff (I wasn't at the DUK PC last time so I don't know if it was presented)

https://extodorg.ipage.com/index.html

There are some pretty useful bits in the upcoming Libre education video on exercise too I think.

They will be listed here when they are broadcast: https://abcd.care/dtn/resources
Thanks Mike

I have registered for the next webinar.

SB2015, in your shoes, I would email DUK and ask if they are able to share the reseource, or give you contact details for the presenter, to aask directly.

Presenters at these things ar often"on the circuit", so will have delivered their presentation to several conferences/audiences. If you know who the presenter was, you could google the presenter's name along with Type 1 diabetes and exercise.

I just need to find the name of the presenter.
Last year they followed the professional conference with the opportunity for people with D to hear some of the presentations. inink @Stitch147 went last year. I wonder if this is happening this year @Gwen Diabetes UK might know.

Diabetes UK would have the speaker programme, which might allow you to find the presenter's name. They may also be able to idetify the speaker from their topic, as there's rarely much crossover.

Hi there, I don't know unfortunately, I don't really work on the conference much! It should definitely be worth asking the Events team that organizes the conference, they should be able to help! Their email is events@diabetes.org.uk
