Can someone tell me how to send a private message, I checked the persons profile but can’t seem to find a button to do it

my dumbass thanks you in advance

If they allow private messages then when you click on their name it should come up with 3 boxes at the bottom, follow, ignore and then send private message, some members there isn't an option but there were issues with some unable to send messages to anyone in which case @everydayupsanddowns may be able to help if that's the case for you xx

Thank you so much @Kaylz & @grovesy It looks like I don’t have the possibility to do it yet, I shall see if @everydayupsanddowns can help me out, it’s not an emergency or anything

I am sure Mike, @everydayupsanddowns, will sort it out next time he is on the forum. I have not asked the question but I am guessing that it is not switched on by default as part of our anti spamming controls. It is hard enough to eliminate attempts of spammers to infiltrate threads without allowing them easy access to private messaging with the problems that could cause!
