just got home from an appointment with the diabetic nurse at my GP surgery. I am apparently very close to having type 2 diabetes, but the only advise given, was to loose weight, eat healthy and do more exercise. Looking at the meal planners, they all seem impractical for me. I have to leave the house by 6.30 am so just have enough time to grab a coffee and a bowl of cereal. Then i am on the road, covering anywhere in Essex or around the M25. If i am lucky, i will have time for a sandwich and drink sometime between 12 and 4 pm depending on jobs. I then get home any time between 8.30 and 11pm. which does not leave much time to eat let alone prepare a meal. anyone else with a busy lifestyle got any suggestions for meals on the go?
