What issues are you anticipating? I live in a rural area where power cuts are nothing new, and have never considered it a problem specific to my insulin. Fridges stay cold for hours, provided you keep the door shut, and I always make sure any meters etc are charged up before they hit the red. I always have matches and candles where I know I can reach them. Anything I've missed?Any advice please for thoses on insulin.
That’s what I’m saying though, it takes at least a month before it goes off so a power cut of a few hours will make no difference to it at all. I think vulnerable customers would be ones on oxygen machines or something that needs power all the timeKeeping the insulin cold if you don’t can go off.we would we be classed as
Vulnerable customer with the electric customer and not have our power cut off.
Yes, not a problem if insulin gets a bit warmer than we'd like for a few days. That’s what I’m saying though, it takes at least a month before it goes off so a power cut of a few hours will make no difference to it at all. I think vulnerable customers would be ones on oxygen machines or something that needs power all the time
Sorry and thanks for the advice.panicking over nothing.
