when i saw my Diabetic nurse i talked to her about being a 'suspected ' diabetic since i was 15/16years. I was tested a number of times but always ok until last year...she said oh a.... but i didnt catch it..doesnt antone know of this condition?

Syndrome X? or metabolic syndrome? Also known as pre-diabetic, with impaired glucose tolerance, but not yet sufficiently bad to qualify for a diagnosis of diabetes possibly. A lot of people have insulin resistance which can progress to diabetes.
