positive bowel cancer screening test

i spoke with my doctors this morning about something and she happened to ask if i was feeling okay so i mentioned about the weight loss without dieting and the screening i was waiting for and when she logged in to the hospital systems it was showing positive for bowel cancer screening test.

with it been a stick test it could also indicate other bowel diseases as that is what the test is for according to the notes which came with it.

once i get a formal letter then i will be in a better position to know what is going on.

one thing i am not going to do is let this thing beat me up, i am a bubbly character and that is how i am going to remain.

another yakky ? if it does go to camera then lets hope this time they don't hit my prostate as last time that really hurt.

I hope the letter is good news and it's something trivial like me with the diverticulitis.

lets hope so Jan. the doctor has told me something which is positive result but i need an official letter in my hand with a run down as to what they found before i can then disclose it fully on here.

Karnak i think the camera would be out of the question as they had to abort the last one and if they want it by sedation you need to have someone at home to keep an eye on you which i don't so not sure what the surgeon would opt for. quite a way off for that yet i will see what they want to do first.

guess the weight loss wasn't something or nothing the doctor who i spoke to yesterday is aware of the loss now. it was recorded on Monday during a review that i had lost 1 stone 4lbs that should of been picked up and passed on but wasn't.

Paul i hope my messages will keep inspiring others that no matter how bad things get just to keep battling away. all ways helps though to have some kind of support in place. my partner when alive was poorly at the end but seemed to sense something about me and drew on that to keep going no matter how grim the situation was there was only one thing we didn't take in to account Covid that took my partners life while in hospital. the only problem with my partner drawing on my inner self was that i used to get knackered but i didn't mind as i still had my love with me. in death i now draw strength to keep me going and it seems to work hey it has to work both ways i guess 🙂

blood was found in both tests and i noticed speckling. i received a letter this morning and they have opted to do a ct scan not the normal one though then are going to see me to check out the lower end, rather them than me 🙂

when i have had DRE that has been a ongoing problem and that is where i get pain which travels inside me to a point inside my lower abdomen which can nearly knock me out very serious stuff.

i do have a fall alarm pendant for safety.

looks like after Easter it is going to be busy.

in between then and now i am just going to keep busy with my hobbies and other chores not going to let this thing ruin my life.
