I’m always very wary of any of those ‘superfood’ suggestions, I’m afraid
Some Type 1s use fruit juice to treat hypoglycaemia. Google suggests pomegranate juice contains 13g of carbs per 100g (the lucozade I use to treat hypos is only 8.4g).
I suspect it would significantly raise my blood glucose.
