Does anyone eat philadelphia cheese. I had some, last night, on digestive biscuit and was very surprised by the result. It didn't seem to have any effect on my blood levels. Has anyone got a food that doesn't seem to effect bg's?

Hi I do i have it spread on rivita(light version) with tinned salmon on the top it is very nice..The one food i can eat and get no spike is grapes many on here seem to have issues with them but im fine..

I can eat apples, bananas and satsumas and other small oranges without spikes, but not grapes. I love grapes :(

I haven't tried this (it does sound yummy!), I would guess the fat in the Phili flattened out any peak in the digestive?

Sounds like I need to take a wander to my local corner shop, purely in the interest of experimentation!!

Yes I do and I love it with some lettuce and ham in a roll. Delicious 🙂

I don't have any problem with the Philly, but the digestive biscuit. Oh dear, oh dear. I just can't get away with them at all. I sometimes use Philly in cheese sauces, it gives a lovely creamy flavour.

I tend to have Phily (mostly Extra Low) on top of either ryvita or nairns as a snack.

The garlic and herb one is very nice.

Philly Light

Nice on water biscuits or whatever type of crackers don't affect you.
can be a bit bland so I put a sprinkle of black pepper on it.

unfortunately I bought loads of other stuff too so the shopping was far too heavy. ah well .... it would have burned up more calories wouldn't it 🙄
