Having a Windows phone has always been a problem with its lack of App support, However i have managed to find a great Diabetes monitoring app called MedM Diabetes, You can also download the app for your Windows 10 Devices (Put it onto my Surface) and the data is Sync'd via online data storage. Completely Free to download and use and very simple to input your data.

Being a tech geek it's a great way i feel to keep a track record of your Test results, Plus with the data stored online, If your phone (Or device) Breaks or is lost, The Data isn't.

Would love to hear what Devices and Software/Apps others are using.

Chris 🙂

I use mySugr and have been since the beginning of the year , when Diabetes UK announced they were no longer supporting there app. I have it on my android phone, tablet , and laptop. It is user friendly and comes as free or subscription. It also gives an estimate of HBA1 C if you input enough readings.

I use mysugr on my iPhone and also keep written records in case tech goes down!

I did see Mysugr and it does look good, But the curse of Windows mobiles lack of apps strikes again lmao I'm happy with MedM and does what i need it to do 🙂

Roche 360 degrees, one of the reasons I have kept W7 - you can't download the remote control for their pumps to a phone. I don't use the internet whatsoever on a phone! Screens are far too small and you can't type on a phone keyboard LOL

I use 'Carbs & Cals' on my android phone and find it very useful for assessing a vast range of food and counting and recording calorie intake.
For recording my bg, and calculating the running averages, for pre and post breakfast, lunch and dinner and pre- bedtime I use an Excel spreadsheet on my PC. I've found this really useful as I've not had an HbA1C test since being diagnosed over 6 months ago and my own testing is helping reassure me I'm moving in the right direction.

I haven't found an app I'm happy with to be honest. They're all too faffy, plus my meter is a USB stick so I tend to just download it. I love tech but absolutely hate logging things so I'm probably never going to find one I like until they find one that just knows 😉. Might have a look at MedM though just in case!
