Anyone else noticed really low blood sugar readings directly after having the Pfizer vaccine?

I have not had my vaccine as yet, but there are others on here that have, who will no doubt be along with a response. There is a thread Have you had your vaccine but I don’t remember seeing mention of this as yet.

If you feel like doing so it would be great if you could introduce yourself in the Newbies section.

Yes, though not dramatically lower. And not "directly after", but after a few hours, and continuing now a few days later my night time basal has to be ~15% lower. (Or it's just coincidence, which I can't rule out.)

Other people have reported increases (which makes more sense, really) but I'm definitely seeing it's lowering rather than raising BG.

Yes, being higher would make more sense. I had a hypo during the night and have been getting persistently low readings since the day after the jag.

Who has had their first jab?

First jab today in Southampton so a few miles to drive but very well organised and staff were great. Had jab because of the work I do so nothing to do with my age or health.

Have your sugar levels settled down over the weekend? I didn't notice any difference to mine after the first shot, so I'll definitely pay attention next time with the second one.
 
Yes, the day after I didn't get above 4.8, gradually got better daily. I've booked my second jab when I'm on a week off work.
I'm on a pump and stayed on my work profile, which is slightly reduced basal and managed to stay out of hypo.
