I have a supply of NovoTwist 5mm Needles which I used with my Victory. Now I'm on Lilly Kwikpen Humulin and was told that the same Needles would be OK.

They're not. They kind of fit on after a bit of a struggle but they're a b***h to get off again! Struggling to get them on can also bend the needle, so nothing comes out which, at a bleary-eyed 6 in the morning is a pain in the asking the question...

What needle is commonly prescribed with the Humulin Kwikpen?

No personal experience, but a quick google suggests Eli Lilley recommend BD microfine, and it seems that Novotwist are made exclusively to fit Novopens.

I have 5mm needles that screw off and on with no problem. I think you should show the doctor or pharmacist the problems you are having and ask for something different.

I use humapen savvio also by elli Lilly and I use bd micro fine 4mm needles for my humulin I twice daily. I use novopen 5 with the same needles for my novorapid for bolus doses

I use MyLife Clickfine Autopro needles for both Humalog and Lantus. They just push on, and screw off. They fit just about everything, including the Kwikpen and Novopen.
