I have a 'Diabetes UK' T-shirt, (you know the one, black pink hummingbird etc.) and have been wearing it regularly to my local gym for a few years now. In that time, no-one has mentioned it, asked about it or drawn attention to it in any way and this morning TWO different people spoke to me about it. 🙄

The first was a lady who told me she is diabetic and wondered where I had got it (I suggested she could get one from Diabetes UK), and the second was a lady who's niece (I think) has just been diagnosed at 18. Unfortunately (I was in the changing room about to have a shower) I didn't have the presence of mind to mention the forum (I think the lack of attire might have had something to do with it 😱 ) but if I see her next week I am hoping to pass on the address to her.

Must be a bit like buses! - Nobody is interested and suddenly two come along at once. :D
