Hi all, another question again…sorry. My daughter eats Zenb ( pasta substitute), made with yellow peas, will it be suitable for T2 who is trying to lose weight ?

It is lower carb than wheat based pasta but still higher in carbs than that made from edamame beans or black beans which are only 15g carb per 100g dry weight. Those are ones I use.
 
I just have my bolognaise on veggies like broccoli or cabbage or courgettes instead of pasta.... Other pasta sauces are of course available 🙄 I have to say I don't miss pasta at all.

At the end of the day, only a BG meter will tell you what works for your body and of course your taste buds will tell you what you enjoy. No point in eating something that you don't enjoy just because it is low carb. It might be that a very small portion of normal pasta is more enjoyable for you than a medium portion of an alternative lower carb pasta, with the same BG response.
