Ach Carol! First time logging in today, what the heck are you like? Bet you’ll have a bit of a shiner tomorrow, just tell everyone they should see the other guy! Hope you won’t be too achy tomorrow, nice hot bath with some Epsom salts should help. The most painful thing will be the price of replacing your specs! Take care and no sledging whilst your skiving, err I mean on the sick! :D X

Once, when I was in A&E, I got asked what the day of week was, and to my embarrassment, couldn't remember! 😳🙄 Fortunately, they knew from the rest of my answers that I was compos mentis, and that single one was just a blip. 🙂
I almost never know the day of the week except Monday when I go back to work after weekend lol

Three figures, and first one three, but have a golden ticket since got them just before Xmas. Think it’s a half price thingy as long as I didn’t chuck ticket. House insurance here I come perhaps. I don’t have a bath, but had one on Tuesday at daughters. Have been slapping on arnica cream though

Elaine, I will practice the skiving well. I am Actually lying in bed, contemplating the week of leisure then sadly realised it’s Thursday already !!!

LOL Carol! That's exactly what it can be like when you retire - you blink and it's Thursday - where did the rest of the week go? hence none of us know how we ever found time to go to work all those years .......

Sorry to hear this @Carolg :( Hope you recover well, and soon {{{HUGS}}}

63 is no age at all these days, it's actually considered 'middle-aged' now, and I'm not far off it myself 🙂

Went out to optician and was suprised at how shaky I felt. Good news is glasses getting replaced free of charge. Feeling a lot better thanks

Glad to hear you're feeling better, if a bit shaky, take care and rest up x

I hope you'll not feel (or look) bruised for too long. I know that embarrassing feeling. I kept apologising to the Dr for being in her surgery at 5 minutes before closing...
