i went for scotch pancakes, so smaller diameter and thicker...........

125g worth................it was so good.......

tried a dual wave bolus.......

Savoury pancakes are just wrong!!
My pancakes were a big chunk of my insulin, I miss having lemon & sugar on mine!

Had Nutella on mine. Started off 4.7 took insulin 15 mins before and added a unit on for luck as I was expecting a big rise. Two hours later.........15.0
Epic failure and not for the last time.

 

[Austin Mini]

Does any body remember those pancakes you used to get in the Little Chef? Dinner plate size pancake with a whole tin of morello cherries in syrup and ice cream. Only ever ate two but I think that is what caused my type 1 diabetes.

My bloods were 4.1, had tea & choc filled pancakes with strawberries & a scoop of diabetic vanilla ice cream (not my choice)
And my bloods are 12.6

Bloody diabetes is a kill joy!
