It is a burning sensation.Hi Jd69, welcome to the forum 🙂 It's not something I have heard of being associated with diabetes. What sort of pain is it - sharp, stabbing pain or do you feel like your ears are burning? Has it been going on for long? If it is constant it would be worth asking your doctor about it.
Diagnosed about 2 years ago. So will talk to doctor. Thank you for your helpDo you have similar pain anywhere else? How is your control, and have you been diagnosed long? Sometimes, when people start treatment and their levels reduce they can get what is called 'transient neuropathy', which cna go away when levels are more stable and closer to normal range. Certainly worth talking to your doctor about, no need to suffer unnecessarily if there is a treatment available 🙂
