Pain in leg

Welcome @Russell64 🙂 If your leg is so painful that you can’t stand on it, I think you need to go to A&E. It might be a circulatory problem. If it were to be that, then the sooner you get it sorted the better.

Do get medical input asap. I hope you get help soon. Do let us know how you are.

Hi there,
I’m really sorry to hear you’re in so much pain - that sounds both physically difficult and understandably worrying. Any new or worsening leg pain, especially when it becomes hard to stand or move, is something that should be checked out by a medical professional as soon as possible. With diabetes, it's especially important not to wait things out when it comes to your legs or feet, as even small issues can develop quickly.
Please consider calling 111 (if you're in the UK) or contacting your GP or out-of-hours service today to get some medical advice - they’ll be able to assess whether you need to be seen urgently. You absolutely deserve to feel safe and supported with this, and getting it looked at is the best step toward easing the worry and hopefully the pain too.
Let us know how you get on if you feel up to it and please take care of yourself in the meantime. <3

My other half panicked as he had a pain in his leg and was concerned it was a DVT but the GP thought it was cellulitis and prescribed antibiotics. We remain unconvinced that it was that but it did gradually get better.

Hope your leg is feeling much better now @Russell64

Sounds pretty scary! Did they find you what caused the pain?

Hi @Russell41 I hope your leg is improving, please keep us updated .....
