Relationship to Diabetes

What started off as a mildly sore neck on the left hand side 3 weeks ago has now become a severe sharp nerve type of pain between my shoulder blades. I hate to bother the GP with things like this, especially in the current climate. Is it something that I should be concerned about as a long term T1 with a high hba1c?

YES!!!! trapped nerve is nowt to do with diabetes of any type but it certainly can and will increase your BG so that's NBG.

Ring the surgery - or indeed 111 as the surgery won't be open over the weekend. Somebody needs to diagnose what's causing it and treat it.

Hope you can manage to get a phone appointment or contact NHS111 for some advice and support @ezzycozzy
