Last night at 10.00 my blood sugar was 8.4 but I thought to be on the safe side I would have 2 small slices of malt loaf and a small milky coffee, but in the morning at 7.00 my blood sugar was 2.8 !

Recently I have increased my Creon to 6*25000 for my evening meal due to experiencing diarrhea and excess wind~ can it be that it is the Creon is dragging the sugar level down.

Tricky stuff Creon. It can make levels interesting. I was 11 before bed last night and 5.1 this morning. I've seen it reported that it can cause hypo and hyperglycaemia.
It could be your basal as well. I have to tweak mine fairly frequently. Luckily I'm on levemir which from what others have said is easier to tweak than Lantus etc.

Creon isn’t a drug. It is just digestive enzymes that help you digest food better. The reason for the hypo was caused by your bolus being too much for the food that was hurrying through without getting absorbed.

And you should take Creon with snacks, your malt loaf and milky coffee needed a couple of Creon to make sure it absorbed.

There’s no fixed dose of Creon - you just take as much as it needs to prevent symptoms. And take it while you are eating to get the best effect.

Aye, fair enough. That covers everything, including putting off Jews, Muslims and vegetarians🙂

Was it a cold night?

I find I might have hypo if I'm cold .
