My feet are still firmly in both camps 🙂 I love them both and both sets of users are knowledgeable, friendly and fun
 
After switching over to a dongle I find myself blocked again. If the other side read this it is a T-Mobile one!

P.S. Went to check national lottery and it asked if was was abroad! Truly a world-wide-web.
 
It says T-Mobile falls in the range 31.96.0.0 - 31.97.255.255. I did notice that my IP address changed each time I rebooted or reconnected trying to solve the VoIP problem but was always in this range. Maybe they will spot this post?

You can email their admin at admin @diabetes-support.org.uk (leaving out the space of course!) 🙂
 
Arghhh it's so frustrating! So sorry people, I will get all IP bans removed. We truly aren't really competition and I do appreciate the fact that a lot of people are members of more than one forum. I totally expect that. I belong to 4, though I don't have time to post in all I often surf them. It's how I learn.

We are now having to build another forum the spam has got so bad. It will be online soon and our present forum will become an archive. These Spammers have a lot to answer for!

I hope we can continue to co-operate as we have in the past, sending warnings to admin in both directions and so forth. I am happy that peeps have feet in both camps, I think it helps a lot!
 
Ooops I need to update my sig! After 8 years I finally have a proper diagnosis - CPeptide reveals I am T1 and not T2 as the medical records state and "Probably T1.5 on a guess from the nurse!"
 
Hi Patti, very sorry that you're having to rebuild your forum again, hope the transition goes well. 🙂 Glad to hear you got a proper diagnosis at last! 🙂
 
Many thanks Patti - you beat me to it. I also belong to a number of technical forums that had to go through the same process. Both lost login details but the every thing else went well. An area with links to really useful threads in the old forum can be useful. Sadly one has been hacked again and is having to be rebuilt. I cannot understand why people do this but imagine they have the same mentality as the idiots who make our nearest town centre a no-go area tonight and tomorrow night. I am unable to post my true thoughts as I would be deleted!!! Anyway it has been a long day so I am off out with a couple of friends for a pint or four! Just need to remember to check BG and top up with a few carbs. Guinness rules OK!
 
I got a trojan warning when I typed in what was my ip addyas per that link😱 Avast blocked the page thank heavens

It's awful. I got Terry to remove all the IP bans and after he'd done it he explained that some of the IPs had been people who had tried to break the forum code and one had done it for a very short time. I now wish I'd not asked him to unban - we could have gone through carefully ensuring that none of the UK ISPs were using the same servers. I can in a way understand spammers as they're trying to make a living, but hackers and destroyers I really really don't understand.
