Ouch cold fingers do make it hurt

Ow ow did my usual finger prick today and it really hurt me lol such a baby but usually its done and I think nothing of it but this time its sore,gotta be because of my hands they are c-c-cold at the minute.
 
Know what you mean, Steff! Been there, done that and had the pain to prove it! LOL. Katie🙂
 
As a newbie and always having an irrational and childish rear of needles I'm not looking forward to the finger pricking business 😱

Sorry to hear of the Ouch moment Steff - about 10% of mine hurt, usually because I'm not paying proper attention and prick it too close to the centre of the finger pad 😱

Should have listened to Tez,,, he told us yesterday that if you warm your hands it wouldn't hurt. :D
 
Yes that's right what John said Steff, should have listened to Tez (Mr experience) bet he could have given you a few ideas on how to warm up your hands!

Thanks for the advice on the batteries for my meter, I changed them round and it worked. I also registered my accu chek meter and have ordered some more batteries!

Suck yer finger first if it's cold. Or stick your hand in your armpit or - err, between the tops of your thighs, as close to ... as poss - girls have more space for this so we're lucky!
