OU course in diabetes care

I'm going to complete the second year of a Certificate in Higher Education in Genetics at my local university, starting in September. Year 1 involved courses in Inheritance, Evolution and Pharmacology (2 per year are directly related to Genetics, remainder is in the same area, but more distantly related), next year will be 2 more Genetics courses (DNA, Genes & Genomes, plus one more Physiology or Geology. This was all prompted by realising I needed an update as Genetics has moved on a bit since I did my BSc 1989 - 92. I'm lucky that my local university offered the course I wanted, and I like the regular weekly content, but if I didn't have a suitable local course, I'd do an OU course. I've heard nothing but good things about OU courses, summer schools etc, and watched some TV broadcasts during both my degrees, although they have stopped now - remember a particularly well timed broadcast about marine mammals and diving responses, just before final BSc exams.
