Reports of a new 'wonder drug' for T2 ....mind you it's the crazy Daily Express ...

Doesn't really seem like a "wonder drug", relatively speaking. It's a GLP-1RA like Ozempic, but a pill rather than an injection. Only prelim results from one Phase 3 trial so far, but based on these, seems like (versus semaglutide, tirzepatide etc): more convenient for those who don't like injections; less effective for HbA1c and weight reduction; same side effects. Maybe more cost effective? (anyway, presumably cheaper to produce).

 
I saw that on MSN earlier - if it helps some folk then it helps of course but never means it will help everybody.
