I know there have been threads here in the past about the change of name for the strips for the Optium Xceed. Like a lot of people, we have one of the meters kept purely for the ketone testing facility.

Our ketone strips are due to expire at the end of the month so need to order more when we see the GP next week. Could anyone please tell me what the new name is for the Ketone strips, and does anyone have the code thingy the GP needs too please? As Christmas is looming I want to make sure there are no hiccups in our re-ordering.

Thank you.

The Optium Xceed are called 'Freestyle' now so the Ketone strips are 'freestyle Optium beta-ketone testing strips' on K's script, not sure about pip code as I've never been asked it- there is a number 70784-35 but don't know what it relates to?

FWIW the script has been changed without me asking but pharmacy must be using up old stock as they are still packaged as Optium Xceed not Freestyle.
