BG was 11 this morning so had a correcvtion of 2 units. Had a small bowl of Alpen cerreal and had 5 units for that. Just tested - 18.2😱 Guess it relates to the cold/virus symptoms that I have.

I hope you sre better soon. Any kind of virus will help push the numbers up.

Yep....same for me...I hate viruses...rarely get them thankfully! Have upped my basal rate to 150%

Hi Phil I hope that you feel better soon

I didn't realise that BGs had gone up because CGM doesn't work with paracetamol which is in the Lemsip Max that I've been having........but then got a bit suspicious when I kept going to the bathroom...

Hope you are both feeling better soon. I've been having some high levels over the past couple of evenings which may be related to my tummy bug or possibly the flu jab I had on Saturday. Most annoying because it's vey difficult to predict how much extra insulin you might need!

....guessing how much insulin to take is almost impossible....my problem is I have a tendency to panic and end up stacking!
