Or am I? People have been commenting on how well I look, and I do feel great. The numbers are pretty stable between 7 and 10.5 with. Too high, but no hypos or sky highs over the last few weeks. I couldn't think why that should be, until last night when I noticed I have too much Gliclazide in my stash. I don't know when I last took them, it must be at least a month and all the odd aches and pains are gone. I'm no longer exhausted all the time, nor do I feel depressed. Hmm, I think I better call the surgery.

It is good you are feeling so well and the numbers are stable. Did you contact the surgery yet?

It's a virtuous circle, isn't it - you look better, so people say you look better, and that makes you feel even better! 🙂

GPs (the best ones) recognise that sometimes following one's own instincts are the right approach - and believe parents when they say their children "aren't right".

And you are lucky if you have GP like this.

Very interesting Alison! Glad you are feeling better. Long may it continue 🙂

Certainly sounds like it may have been a fortuitous omission in your daily routine! 🙂 Although your levels are a little on the high side, I've read many times that it is the range from low to high that is thought to be more of a problem - and you were certainly getting quite a range when you were taking them. Hope the doctor can come up with some answers to get you lower, but just as stable 🙂

Id love to be stable 🙂

Well done xx

I think talk of stable at this time of year is quite apt! 🙂

Now, who are the wise men? I can think of at least one straight off!

Andy 🙂

Wise men didn't come to the stable - they came to Nazareth much later, after detour via Jerusalem. Still, I think I know who you mean is one of the wise men. 🙂

And having spent a winter in Israel and Jordan, there is no way the birth occured in December, as there is no way any sensible shepherds and sheep would have been in hills around Bethlehem in midwinter!

LOL Copepod

I think they were perchance metaphoric shepherds and sheep.

Anyway bearing in mind it was all about the Census anyway, gotta be April 1st ......

I'll get me coat .....
