Its was one year yesterday that I was in hospital and told I had joined the club no one wants to be in.
Its not great being in the club but I must say it aint all bad, as there are also some great people in the same club as me.
Also my health is much better than it was a year ago.
Would just like to say since coming on this site I have had some great advice and support from some great caring people.
Cheers everyone.

Happy diaversary @emmgeo . I agree with your sentiments and happy to hear you are feeling better since last year, we are all on the never ending learning curve. You don’t have your figures on a signature but assume as you are feeling much better that you have improved your bg levels significantly and well done to you. xx

Hi Sue
I have doctors tomorrow for toe tickle and latest results from blood test.
My last test results my HBA1C was 31, Lost 6 st in weight my blood pressure was a lot better and my cholestral was 4, also had a fatty liver but had a scan in November and told it now looks normal.
I was on insulin for a couple of months then taken off that and put on 2000 mg of Metformin, but since November I am now on 1000mg of Metformin. I take one blood pressure tablet and one Statin a day.
I am not expecting my HBA1C result to be as good as the last one but I live in hope.🙂

Wow, what a transformation! Good for you and happy diaversary.

Well those results are brilliant, it’s amazing isn’t it how we can change such big things and can’t believe you’ve lost six stones, you must look like a new man. Hope your results are good tomorrow, let us know how it goes and again really well done, you’ve obviously worked extremely hard xx

That's fantastic! Really really well done.

Happy diaversary, and congratulations on a brilliant start to your post-diagnosis life. That's a terrific weight loss, which will have hugely positive implications for all sorts of health risks as well as your diabetes.

Great stuff! Keep it up!
