One in a thousand hypo

Well when I have had that kinda hypo happen Northie - and I have at several intervals over the past few years - me and DSN have put it down to a 'lump' of old insulin which hadn't been absorbed at some stage, suddenly deciding to absorb. We decided that because I've been injecting for so long and because there really was no other explanation known to either of us!

There's a bit of 'our' carb-counting course which refers to this, can hang round for as long as 12 years would you believe - though I have absolutely no idea how they arrived at that conclusion!

Anyway, it's obviously the Diabetes Fairy at work - and you know him really well so I'm surprised you didn't realise that for yourself !

I've only been 'at it' for 4.5 years though and I jab all over the place so would hope not to be having issues so soon - have to make it to 100 to get my Nabarro award from DUK! 😱
