i love them, just cant get enough of them right now. lovely black and green olives. i can very happly sit and munch my way thou a whole jar😱 Are there any carbs in them i hope not

Right there with you Gail, I loves those delicious little beggars! They are very low in carbs (well green ones are not sure about black olives), I don't bolus for them. They are quite high in salt though so if you're watching your intake of salt that might make a difference. I am currently obsessed with garlic stuffed green olives, good job you can't smell me right now because I've had hummus too :D

GARLIC stuffed olives yum yum happy tum

Oh and almond stuffed green olives, delicious 🙂

I once picked olives in Cyprus for a week. Was in heaven ! The fella there made his own wine A good time 😎 Enjoy

Absolute heaven, they'd never drag me away 🙂

You either love them or hate them. The bloke in Cyprus I was working for had a small farm & had just started cooking his home grown pig. That tasted ex. A holi I will not forget 😎

I'm with you Steff - yuk! 😱 Things that deceive you by looking like grapes then tasting nothing like them!

I'm with Steff and Northie. Yuk....olives....devils food. they always look very nice lying in wee bowls inviting you to try one!! Humus however, have you ever tried sweet chilli humus? That stuff should be banned, I always say I'll just have a little and end up finishing the pot!!! 😱:D

Me too. Love humous, and the sweet chilli one is gorgeous. I've never been keen on olives though, the only time came close to enjoying them was on a holiday to Carcassonne where they have great baskets of the things in every colour under the sun in the markets. They were fresh picked and that seemed to make a big difference.

Ooh! When were you in Carcassonne? I was there in 1981 🙂 Cassoulet was the favourite food on my menu at the time! 🙂

I've been three times Northe. 1977 as part of a folk music tour, 1993 with my IT Consultant hat on and 2002 on holiday. Love the area, the history (very bloody! and I've always been fascinated by the Cathars) and the food, including Cassoulet. Couldn't do it now though, the hills are too steep for me these days.
