Hi
I'm a type II diabetic diagnosed several years ago, used to manage it OK but I'm having a few issues and am staring at a stark diagnosis (as of a couple of hours ago at my GP) unless I pull myself together. A lot of problems have cropped up over the last year (work, home, problems at the surgery itself) and have come to a head at the same time meaning I have high blood sugars, poor lifestyle, a new tablet regime that's causing me some rather unpleasant side effects and a work life balance that's making life style adjustments even more difficult - and they're all feeding each other, creating a rather vicious circle. I'm still trying to get my head around a few things and what to do next, some of its out of my control (or at least, nothing I can do about TODAY) but decided one small step was to stop lurking and to sign up here and admit I have a problem.
So Hi, I'm VMP and I'm a not in control type 2 diabetic (nervous smiley face)
