As a diabetic now on insulin. The DSN said I need to tell the DVLA. Now looking on their website its guidance is about diabetes mellitus. Not diabetes T2?.

So not guidance for Diabetes T2. So do we need to advice them?.

Hi veganlass, the full name of diabetes is diabetes mellitus, whether Type 1 or Type 2 - this is to distinguish it from diabetes insipidus, which is an entirely different disease that does not cause blood sugar problems. So you have diabetes mellitus, type 2 and as you are now on insulin you need to follow the instructions you have quoted.
