Today we went to the Museum of London. We had a light lunch there, then at about 3pm (cos it was still raining) had each a pot of tea, and scone with clotted cream & jam (only a little). At 5pm after we got home I did a 2-hour test (though I didn't know what my reading was beforehand)....whoops, 11.3. Oh bum :(. After a quick burst on my exercise bike I did another test at 5.30, and it's gone down to 6.2. I'll do another one at 6...

Lesson learned: don't have a large scone with jam & cream. Especially as I'm going to book my review & blood test in the next couple of weeks 😱

The scone was probably 40 carbs on it's own 🙄

Hope you enjoyed it though xx

Thanks, yes, it was lovely 🙂 and I am absolutely tickled pink to say that at 6pm my reading was 5.0, oh yes! :D:D:D

Great recovery, though I'm with Alan..... Scone & lashings of butter, never liked jam or cream....

Mmm, had half a fruit scone and butter at 3 pm so dread BG. Better do it before my soup
