been ill since friday, threw up at 6am saturday haven't eaten much since, had to go to college yesterday woke up and had a hot flush and nearly passed out.
still feeling ill today, got stomach pains really hurts :(
also another thing, my urine has changed colour to like yellowy dunno if that is anything to do with it.
i haven't had any insulin today as of yet, as my levels are fairly normal i still have got my background insulin going though.
urgh just wish whatever i've got would leave me alone i want to start college properly!
so i'm off to the doctors to see if there is anything they can do.
 
If your urine is dark you are dehydrated. Are you managing to drink some fluids? Hope you feel better very soon.
 
The colour of your urine may indicate you are dehydrated, so try and drink more water.

There are a lot of tummy bugs doing the rounds, they seem to last three or four days. As you are in pain and almost passed out, I think it would be sensible to get medical advice from your GP or phone NHS Direct.

Have you tried testing for ketones Estella? Hope the docs are able to help and you're feeling better soon xx
 
yeah i have tested for ketones didn't show up with any which i guess is a good thing.
drinking and such, i have been drinking not as much as i should as i'm not a big drinker i guess the docs will most likely say the same, was suppose to go to a hospital appointment today aswell which i'm not gonna be able to make :/

i did think it could be flu, but i don't think it would make me throw up and stuff...
 
If you can manage some soup, it might help you feel better. It will give you some food as well as fluids.
 
mum just said i might have a kidney infection, as i do have a new boyfriend and all.
 
Hi Estella, Hope you are feeling better soon. Flu can make you sick - so that is possible. Let us know how you get on at the doctors, hopefully they can help. As for the hospital appointment - might it be worth seeing if the can ring you instead? Then you can get some advice on your insulin doses and stuff.
 
i officially have a water infection or a urine infection, the blooming joys.
just waiting for mum to go and get me my antibiotics, as she won't let me out the house cause i havent been eating etc.
oh well at least i know.

Young, old, diabetic, non diabetic Urine infections are nasty can send you a tad loopy, sleepy and just darn right irritable some times :(

Last one I had was 2 days after my Grandad died 5 hour there & back drive 3 times in one week. Nasty and I wasn't even driving!


Really hope the antib's kick in soon for you Estella and your feeling more like your normal self with a few days :D

Oh dear! Nasty. At least you have some treatment for it now though. I hope it kicks in quickly and you are feeling back to normal again (((hugs))) xx

Sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly:( Could it possibly be food poisioning if it's not a tummy bug ? The tummy pains are often associated with food poisioning, but I hope it's not this. Take care and I hope you feel better soon Sheena x

hehe yeah we're still together was our two month anniversary the other day aha, spent it in bed watching simpsons cause i'm unwell aha.
