I've heard a lot about this from various sources, looks like a really good idea 🙂 I wonder if it can get me up to 21.1k in the next 3 weeks? 😱

wow that looks really good! some great help there for people too...I may give it a go too....although with what the propose, I may find myself spending longer trying to remember how long I'm doing each bit for!! I'll need to take a trainer with me!

I may try it in the gym and then I can have the sheet with me 🙂

Thanks for sharing!

You will be OK Alan, we are all looking out for you.:D
How is that target coming along? Anyone here forgotten their donation? Come on folks, it wont matter if Alan even goes over target.

As someone who started running a few years ago, kept at it for about a month, and gave up again, even a minute of running slowly can really make you feel like you've been sat on by an elephant. 🙄

But I did find it easier after a couple of days. I managed to get up to mile at a jogging pace and life got in the way so I gave it up.

But it's a really good thing that will give a lot of people the confidence and impetus to test their abilities and improve their health.🙂

Just watch those knees !

Rob

Knees - avoid running on tarmac / pavements, running on grass / earth paths / forest trails etc is more fun, especially if orienteering 🙂 Or Parkruns often have much of their 5km lengths on park grass / paths, although obviously routes vary between places - see http://www.parkrun.org.uk/

But watch out for cattlegrids in the dark - I fell down one 7 months ago, and still not back to running, barely walking. :(

Gee thanks CP count me in and where do I sign up 😱 :D
