Evening all. Found a nice sounding recipe for Oat Cakes in yesterday's Sunday paper. Worked out the carbs from the recipe to be 10 per cake. The recipe makes 12 oat cakes. Does any oat cake fan know if this is good or not? Am ok with porridge so thought I might try them

What size are they? I usually have Nairns fine milled which are 4.3g of carbs each.

Ah are they proper Stoke on Trent oatcakes or oat biscuits, the former is like a pancake/wrap, the latter a biscuit. If it's a wrap type affair then let me know how they go, I used to love those when I lived in Stoke but have never found a good recipe or any pre-made ones that I like. Much softer than a Nairns oatcake, slightly rubbery (in a good way), oh those were the days :D

Have not made them yet folks but will let you know how I get on when I do. They look like similar to the Nairns ones in the photo
