Before I was diagnosed, I always considered nuts as something we "only had at christmas", and would barely consider eating them otherwise.

Since diagnosis I have been enjoying them as a snack and have found:

1 - They really take the edge off my appetite,
2 - I have felt so much better.
3 - my skin seems to feel brighter.
4 - I'm still losing a bit of weight
5 - and most importantly, they don't affect the BG levels!

i was well pleased to dicover the benefits of nuts aswell x walnuts are a favourite especially the wet ones in the autumn ....whole earth peanut butter is also great as it has no added sugar 🙂
 
Me 3, i posted about which were the best to have a month or so ago, i used to hate the sight or taste of nuts, but now im loving them so weird..well expect salted nuts :D
 
I have a big mixture (including a few dry roasted peanuts), but find brazils particularly satisfying!
