Before I was diagnosed, I always considered nuts as something we "only had at christmas", and would barely consider eating them otherwise.
Since diagnosis I have been enjoying them as a snack and have found:
1 - They really take the edge off my appetite,
2 - I have felt so much better.
3 - my skin seems to feel brighter.
4 - I'm still losing a bit of weight
5 - and most importantly, they don't affect the BG levels!
good eh?
