Nursing home deaths: Accused nurse Megan Haines cannot remember talking about using insulin to kill

A registered nurse, accused of murdering two elderly women at a northern New South Wales nursing home, says she cannot remember a conversation in which she allegedly boasted about knowing how to kill someone with insulin.

Megan Haines is charged with the murders of Marie Darragh, 82, and Isabella Spencer,77, by injecting them a lethal dose of insulin at St Andrews Village nursing home in Ballina in May 2014.

She has pleaded not guilty and today took the stand in her Supreme Court trial.
