Been to see diabetic nurse today about sugars always being high introduced her to my food diary said she was impressed told me I was eating all the right foods but not to have bread at all and don't snack on the odd chocolate bar or doughnuts but everything else is spot on, big thanks to you guys, might have to have insulin at night though cos fasting levels to high

Quite pleased least I know I am on the right track now forgot to tell her to change my metformin though to slow release it been like blamangne for last 4 month,lol

Well done. It’s a steep learning curve isn’t it,
You could try to contact the nurse by phone to see about swapping to slow release Metfartin.
