Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
a couple of years back - before I knew I was diabetic - my legs went numb from my waist to my toes. After some investigations which found nothing, the feeling came back over two or three weeks until all was normal again.

I now find my waist is numb on the left side. Could this be a diabetes side-effect (excuse the pun!)

I suppose it's possible it could be some form of neuropathy but you really should take yourself to the doctor to be sure. There are any numbers of things it 'might' be and you really should get it investigated.

It sounds unlikely to be connected to diabetes, more likely something connected with the discs in your spine. Do go and see the doc!

It might be sciatica or a trapped nerve, it sounds not fun. It will pay to get it checked out if only for your peace of mind. I hope you feel better soon

Sounds like it is back related. I used to get a lot of problems with my sciatic nerve and my leg used to go numb.
